Jake Schroeckenthaler scored 36 points to lead Monona Grove to a 90-76 victory over The Prairie School.
Schroeckenthaler scored in a variety of ways, including a pair of corner threes in the first half to spur Monona Grove to a seven-point halftime lead that ballooned to a 16-point advantage after halftime. The Silver Eagles' defense was effective for the middle 'half' of the game en route to a big win.
Monona Grove will play McFarland Thursday night, but it is not part of the WBY Shootout. We will have their game next Thursday against Oregon on The Big 1070.
Schroeckenthaler's 36 points are a career-high and 4th-most in Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout history.
