NFL Draft: Daurice Fountain selected by Indianapolis

At #159 (5th Round), Madison native, Madison Memorial alum and Northern Iowa receiver Daurice Fountain was selected by the Indianapolis Colts.

Fountain, who was co-player of the game in the East-West Shrine Game along with Natrell Jamerson of Wisconsin, is the first Wisconsin native to be selected in the 2018 NFL Draft.

A productive receiver at Northern Iowa, he was graded to be picked in about this spot. He'll join a Colts team that has invested heavily in offense, particularly up front.

Fountain's teammate at Madison Memorial, Jester Weah of Pittsburgh, is expected to be in consideration for the NFL Draft as well.
