Matt Kenseth to race for first time since Homestead

For the first time since the end of the 2017 season at the Monster Energy Cup Series race at Homestead, Matt Kenseth is back in the fold in NASCAR.

Kenseth, a Cambridge, Wisconsin native, is driving for Roush Fenway Racing on a part-time basis in Trevor Bayne's #6 car. Kansas Speedway will be the debut track for Kenseth in 2018.

It has not been determined how many races (or which ones) Kenseth will run, but it will be multiple.

Kenseth was in the NASCAR postseason last year, but his championship dreams ended when his pit crew sent too many people over the wall, automatically eliminating Kenseth from race contention.
