Travis Wilson of WisSports.net will be back for the 10th season of Football Friday Night, statewide in Wisconsin, alongside new co-host Bob Brainerd of Spectrum Sports beginning August 17. The program will air at 9:30 p.m. every Friday night, including the postseason.
The show, which originally began on The Big 1070 recapping Madison-area football games, has expanded over the years to cover the entire state of Wisconsin.
New this year is the addition of co-host Bob Brainerd, who covers high school sports for Spectrum Sports, typically in the southeastern part of Wisconsin. Brainerd has worked across the state in sports media for several years on television.
Each show can be heard on the flagship The Big 1070 in Madison and statewide courtesy of Learfield. The program is also available nationally on iHeartRadio (search for The Big 1070) or on demand via iHeartRadio, Spreaker, iTunes, or wissports.net.
The program features interviews with coaches, analysis of the top games of the evening, and highlights of radio broadcasts from affiliates as well as a spotlight on some of the top performances from around Wisconsin.
Looking forward to my 10th year of co-hosting Football Friday Night. Very excited to work with @BobBrainerd for the first time. Big thank you to Tim Scott, @brian_posick , & all the crew at @thebig1070 plus @Learfield and all the great affiliates.
