Middleton football players assist in flood relief efforts

With the recent record rainfalls and ensuing flooding in the Middleton-Cross Plains School District, Middleton's football team took to helping the community and assisting in relief efforts this week.

Cardinals co-head coach Tim Simon talked about the pride he feels in his team, and the leadership skills they developed, as football practice was called off so the team could get active in their communities. Simon told us that the vast majority of the football team was assisting in some way with relief efforts, and acknowledges that it's only the beginning, as some families and students will be dealing with the flooding aftermath for weeks, if not months.
