In Boy's Soccer, several area teams that are very familiar to being ranked high in the polls are again in the rankings to start the 2018 season, with Sun Prairie, Verona, Oregon, Sauk Prairie, Mount Horeb, McFarland, and Sugar River all in the top ten statewide.
Defending Division 3 state champion Mount Horeb begins the season ranked #5, while last year's Division 2 runner-up Oregon is also ranked #5. Madison West advanced to the state tournament last year, but begins the season unranked.
