Reedsburg football rallying after flooding impacts community

Reedsburg football coach Brian Pottinger says that he's proud of how his team and community are working together to counter the effects of flooding along the Baraboo river, with impacts felt far beyond the football field in Reedsburg.

Pottinger talks about how the pictures and videos are almost unbelievable if he wasn't living through it himself, but is encouraged by how the leaders on his team have gone to work in the areas around Reedsburg to help any way they can. It's an ongoing situation, which has even led to the cancellation of school for the first week of classes, but he says he hopes Friday night's game can be a welcome diversion and a rally point for his community.

Reedsburg is scheduled to host Sauk Prairie on Friday as of 11am Thursday.
