Middleton earned a second win this season over Marquette on Tuesday night, 3-1, and extended their winning streak to seven matches. The third-ranked Cardinals have a week free before things pick up in the back half of their schedule, including a big Saturday event on September 29 in Middleton.
Coach Ben White is excited about the progress of this year's team, as the start of the year was impacted by the flooding in Middleton and Cross Plains. Now that the home court is almost ready for use, the Cardinals won't have to leave town as much as they play through the second half of their regular-season schedule and get ready for the playoffs.
