Verona, coming off of a big 28-10 win over Madison Memorial last week, can clinch a playoff spot if they can get past Madison La Follette on the road and at the Lancer's Homecoming this week.
Wildcats coach Dave Richardson isn't looking that far ahead, though, as the young Verona squad will try to get past a team with a solid defense and explosive running back first.
Richardson warns that La Follette's defense is the real deal, and that for a team laden with young players, Verona will have their work cut out for them. Adding to the challenge, Verona will be down three of their top players again this week.
