8th-ranked Waunakee volleyball scored a win over Mount Horeb on Tuesday night to run their season record to 34-3, and the Warriors have a couple of tournaments to go before the playoffs begin in two weeks. Coach Anne Denkert discusses the keys to Waunakee's success this season.
Part of the success has come against other very successful teams this season, particularly in Division 1. The Warriors have defeated Arrowhead this season, for example, and also took down Watertown on the road in an invite earlier this season. Coach Denkert says that the Warriors also have an event in Illinois just before the playoffs begin that she hopes will help Waunakee learn how to adjust on the fly against teams they've never seen before, something that could happen later on in the postseason.
