Top-seeded McFarland will begin their playoff run with a home match against Rock Valley Conference foe Edgerton.
Coach Brett Ogorzalek says that the tough non-conference schedule helped in team development, as well as preparation for the postseason, with Mount Horeb, Edgewood, and Sugar River all looming in their sectional. Like most teams in the area, the Spartans took advantage of the deep pool of talented teams in the Madison area to schedule up, and McFarland had success against some of those schools.
