St. Mary's Springs had to rally twice, but held on to beat Stratford 20-17 for the Division 5 state football championship.
Stratford went up 14-0, but Springs was able to come back and tie. Stratford booted a field goal to take a 17-14 lead, but the Ledgers got a big touchdown by Marcus Orlandoni in the fourth quarter to go ahead and claim the D5 title.
