One of the Milwaukee Brewers' worst outings of the year came on Sunday, when the Brewers were shut out by the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-0.
Milwaukee only got two hits in the contest, while striking out 14 times and never threatening as Pittsburgh took the series, two games to one.
The Brewers came back to win Saturday's contest 5-3, but lost the series opener 6-4.
Milwaukee will have a day off before facing Cleveland for two games on Tuesday and Wednesday at home. The Brewers will then play at Colorado for a four-game series beginning Thursday.
