Brewers 8, Diamondbacks 2: Four home runs win it for the Crew

A big day at the plate for Brewers hitters propelled Milwaukee to an 8-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon. Brewers hitters slugged four home runs, three of them with two outs in the inning, to take the victory and the series from the Diamondbacks.

After giving up a home run in the first inning, Brandon Woodruff settled in for five innings of one-hit baseball, and the Brewers' bullpen closed out the final four innings with five strikeouts.

Milwaukee, now 5-2 on their road trip, head to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Twins Friday through Sunday to wrap up their 10-day road swing.
