Brewers allow 8 unanswered runs, fall 8-3 to White Sox

After going up 3-0 on the Chicago White Sox, the Milwaukee Brewers gave up eight unanswered runs, falling 8-3 on Friday night.

Things looked good initially for the Brewers, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a Ryan Braun two-run home run, but the game progressively the opposite direction as the White Sox put up five runs combined in the sixth and seventh innings, scoring four earned runs against the Brewers' normally excellent bullpen.

The loss to the last-place White Sox didn't knock the Brewers from the top of the division; Milwaukee still has a three-game lead on the other team from Chicago, the Cubs, after play Friday.

Milwaukee still has seven more games to go on their road trip, including games against Cleveland and Philadelphia.
