On back-to-back days, the Milwaukee Brewers shut out the Chicago Cubs, with Lorenzo Cain's solo home run the only score in the game.
Jhoulys Chacin had another steady outing, giving up four hits in six innings while striking out seven. The bullpen went Jeremy Jeffress-Josh Hader-Corey Knebel to close out the 1-0 victory, as the trio struck out six Cubs in three innings.
The win put the Brewers on top of the NL Central, and gave Milwaukee a series win over the Cubs. Coming into the series, Milwaukee was just 1-7 against their NL Central rivals. The teams don't meet again until August.
