Brewers top Marlins 8-4 as Christian Yelich haunts old team

With three hits and four RBI, Christian Yelich got the better of his old team, helping the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Miami Marlins 8-4 on Tuesday night.

A four-run second inning was key as Milwaukee got out in front in the top of the first inning and second inning. From there, Milwaukee held on the rest of the way, adding a run in the eighth and two runs in the ninth to claim the victory.

Jhoulys Chacín worked five and two-thirds innings pitched with seven hits and four runs allowed. Jeremy Jeffress gave up two hits in the seventh inning, but no runs, and top prospect Corbin Burnes pitched the eighth and ninth innings with no hits allowed, no walks, and one strikeout.
