Back-to-back homers give Pirates 2-1 edge on Brewers Saturday

Two first-inning home runs by the Pittsburgh Pirates were all they needed to hand the Milwaukee Brewers their fourth loss in a row, 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in the first game of their doubleheader.

Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco each hit home runs off of Chase Anderson, who settled in to allow six hits and struck out five Pirates on the game.

Milwaukee had a big opportunity in the top of the fifth inning, getting one run across on a single by Christian Yelich. The bases were loaded for Travis Shaw, who struck out to end the threat.
