Christian Yelich named NL Player of the Week

Christian Yelich hit .517 with 15 hits, 10 RBI, 3 home runs, and eight runs scored, and he was named the National League's Player of the Week.

Yelich, in the midst of a 13-game hitting streak, has also hit safely in 18 of the past 19 Brewers's games.

In addition to the recent success, Yelich is well on pace to set career highs in home runs, RBI, stolen bases, doubles, and is currently enjoying career-bests on all the slash lines.

The last Brewers NL Player of the Week was Aramis Ramirez in 2015.
