Brewers win in 10 innings over Rockies in NLDS opener, 3-2

After losing a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Milwaukee Brewers were able to walk it off in the tenth inning when Mike Moustakas drove in Christian Yelich to give the Brewers a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies in the first game of the NLDS.

Milwaukee's bullpen day went eight innings strong, allowing just one hit while striking out 10. Jeremy Jeffress, however, ran into trouble in the bottom of the ninth, allowing three hits and two runs to tie the game, which sent it to extras.

After Joakim Soria tossed a hitless tenth inning, the Brewers got things going in the bottom of the tenth, with Mike Moustakas hitting an RBI single to bring home Christian Yelich for the walk-off victory.

The Brewers now lead the series one game to none. Game 2 is Friday afternoon at Miller Park with a 3:15 p.m. first pitch. Jhoulys Chacin goes for the Brewers.
