On Sunday afternoon at Coors Field, the Milwaukee Brewers shut out the Colorado Rockies, sweeping the series to advance to the NLCS beginning this Friday at Miller Park.
For the second time in three games, Brewers pitching kept the Rockies off the board. Wade Miley pitched into the fifth inning before giving way to the bullpen, and the six total Milwaukee pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout.
It's Milwaukee's first trip to the NLCS since 2011, when they lost four games to two to the St. Louis Cardinals.
