Brewers sign relief pitcher Alex Wilson

With the bullpen taking some injury hits this spring, the Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to sign free agent pitcher Alex Wilson, according to The Athletic. Wilson, 32, pitched last year for Detroit and this spring for Cleveland.

Wilson has pitched for Boston and Detroit in his six years in the major leagues, compiling 320.2 innings pitched in 290 career games. His career ERA is 3.23 with a career 1.188 WHIP, and last year he appeared in 59 games, with a WHIP of 1.054 in 61.2 innings of work.

Wilson was cut by Cleveland in spring training only two days ago.
