Braun drives in Yelich for go-ahead run in 4-3 Brewers win on Monday

Christian Yelich didn't homer, snapping his streak of four straight games with a home run, but he did score the go-ahead run in the ninth inning on a hit by Ryan Braun to give the Brewers a 4-3 win over the Reds on Monday night. Josh Hader earned the save for Milwaukee.

The Brewers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, but the Reds got two back in the fifth and one in the sixth. In the top of the ninth inning, Braun drove home Yelich to give Milwaukee the lead for good. Josh Hader used nothing but fastballs to pick up his third save of the season.

Zach Davies put in five innings of work, racking up six strikeouts. The bullpen gave up four hits in four innings, but only one run as Milwaukee improved to 4-1.

Milwaukee is at Cincinnati again on Tuesday night, game two of a three-game series.
