Brewers fall flat as Giants rally for 8-7 win

After taking a 5-1 lead in the fifth inning, the Milwaukee Brewers coughed it up down the stretch, falling 8-7 to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday afternoon.

Former Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt had two triples as the Giants piled up seven runs in four innings against Jimmy Nelson, Adrian Houser, and the rest of the Milwaukee bullpen.

San Francisco totaled 15 hits in the game, including a 3-for-4 effort by Vogt.

Ryan Braun had a three-hit game, and Christian Yelich scored three runs, but it wasn't enough as the Brewers have now dropped the series and look to salvage a win on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco.
