Brewers manage 2 hits, shut out again by Reds in 1-0 loss Thursday

Milwaukee has gone 23 innings without scoring, as the Brewers were shut out for the second straight day, 1-0 by the Cincinnati Reds. The Brewers got just two hits in the loss.

Keston Hiura hit a single in the seventh inning to break up a no-hit bid by Cincinnati pitcher Luis Castillo.

Christian Yelich was stranded 90 feet away at third base in the ninth inning, as the game ended on an Eric Thames popout.

The Reds won the final three games of the four-game series, as the Brewers try to regroup ahead of their weekend series in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.
