Bucks fend off Clippers 128-118 Thursday; Giannis has injury scare

A tense moment for Bucks fans occurred in the fourth quarter of Milwaukee's 128-118 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers when Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered an apparent ankle injury.

Coach Mike Budenholzer offered no official update on Antetokounmpo's status, saying only that they'd decide later if they'll let him play through it or place him in 'bubble wrap' for the rest of the regular season.

On the court, Khris Middleton racked up 39 points while Antetokounmpo matched his uniform number with 34 as the Bucks had a big lead late in the fourth quarter and fended off a rally by Los Angeles with their star player out for the final five minutes.

Milwaukee embarks on a three-game road trip beginning Sunday in Atlanta before finishing the regular season with three games at home. If Milwaukee wins two of those six games, they'll clinch the top seed in the Eastern Conference and home court advantage should they make the NBA Finals.
