Report: Khris Middleton expected to re-sign with Milwaukee Bucks

Khris Middleton is reportedly staying with the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to The Athletic's Jordan Brenner, an NBA executive believes Middleton is prepared to sign a five-year, near-max deal to stay in Milwaukee.

Middleton, who made his first NBA All-Star team in 2018-19, is an unrestricted free agent.

Milwaukee is also attempting to re-sign Brook Lopez and Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon is expected to fetch top dollar even as a restricted free agent, which will hamstring the Bucks' flexibility to seek players this offseason. The New York Times' Marc Stein reported Monday that the Bucks are dangling their first-round pick, at #30 overall, in order to move one of the contracts of Tony Snell or Ersan Ilyasova to create some room financially for what may be a pair of expensive deals.
