HSFB: Middleton's defense to see big challenge vs. Memorial

Middleton gave up 61 points to Verona two weeks ago. Since then, the defense now has four new starters as they get ready for Friday night's showdown with defending Big 8 champion Madison Memorial.

Coach Jason Pertzborn had multiple two-way players to start the year, but since then, some younger players have emerged as key contributors on the defensive side, particularly in the secondary.

Offensively, it's still the Kallion Buckner show, with nine rushing touchdowns and two through the air, and nearly 500 yards rushing in just three games.

Here's The Big 1070's conversation with Coach Pertzborn, which includes a discussion about Air Force commit Billy Johnson, a two-way starter along the lines.
