Mount Horeb soccer plays through difficult 2019 schedule

With several state-ranked teams on their schedule, the Mount Horeb Vikings boys' soccer team is finding success as they ramp up for the 2019 WIAA State Tournament.

Coach Mark Newman credits the hard work of his players in the offseason, as well as growth during the year against what has been a challenging schedule. The Vikings have played Verona and McFarland, and still have games against Madison East, Madison West, and others the rest of the way, all ranked in the state. In the case of the Big 8 schools, all three are currently in the top ten of this week's WSCA Coaches Poll.
