State golf recap with Rob Hernandez of

Rob Hernandez of recaps the 2019 WIAA State Girls Golf Championship, as Middleton and Edgewood won state titles this year.

Rob notes the long stretch of success for Edgewood, which just picked up its 15th state championship, all since 2001. The Crusaders were battling early on, but pulled away on the first day and won handily in Division 2.

As for Middleton, Rob points to the hard work and experience of the Cardinals as being big factors in their third state title, one year after finishing as the runner-up.
