Games For Wednesday, January 18

Men's Basketball at Oshkosh (7pm): #25 Whitewater (12-3, 1-3) has struggled in early WIAC play, and plays Oshkosh (10-5, 3-1), a team that is just one game out of first place, going 3-0 in conference road play so far.

Women's Basketball at Whitewater (7pm)" #20 Whitewater (14-1, 4-0) meets #10 Oshksoh (14-1, 4-0) in the first of two highly-anticipated conference games this season. The winner will be all alone in first place in the WIAC. Whitewater has won seven straight while Oshkosh is on a six-game winning streak.

Men's Basketball at La Crosse (7pm): #5 River Falls (14-1, 4-0) looks to extend its twelve-game win streak with a victory over La Crosse (9-6, 1-3). The Eagles have dropped three straight.

Women's Basketball at River Falls (7pm): La Crosse (8-7, 2-2) can stay within striking distance of the top teams in the WIAC (and add some advantage to hosting a WIAC Tournament game) with a win, while River Falls (5-10, 0-4) is seeking its first conference win and to end its seven-game skid.

Men's Basketball at Platteville (7pm): Stevens Point (8-6, 2-2) looks to extend Platteville's (7-8, 0-4) five-game losing streak. With a win, the Pointers could, with losses by Stout and Oshkosh, be tied for second place in the conference.

Women's Basketball at Stevens Point (7pm): Stevens Point (11-4, 3-1) could be tied for second place with a win over the Pioneers (5-10, 1-3).

Men's Basketball at Eau Claire (7pm): The biggest War On 94 men's basketball game between these teams in years, #12 Eau Claire (12-3, 2-2) needs a win to cement its status as a top team in the league, while Stout (12-3, 3-1) could vault into the Top 25 with a big win on the road at Zorn Arena. Women's Basketball at Stout (7pm): Eau Claire (7-8, 1-3) and Stout (5-10, 1-3) are both looking for a big win to keep them a game up in the standings for a WIAC Tournament berth.
