Matt Kenseth is back in NASCAR's Monster Energy Cup, and the former champion will race part-time in the #6. Kenseth will also be part of the All-Star Race festivities.
During his live press conference today (which you can watch by going here), Kenseth discussed the process in returning to NASCAR and what he hopes to accomplish by coming back.
Some of the highlights of the press conference include the announcement of his first race (May 12 at Kansas) and that while contract details are private, Roush Fenway Racing wants to let Kenseth race as long as he's able.
A future schedule has not been determined. Kenseth revealed he had not spoken yet to Trevor Bayne, driver of the #6, about the new arrangement yet.
