Recognizing the trade to the Packers as an opportunity to showcase his ability, DeShone Kizer discusses what he's learned so far in his short tenure in Green Bay, and what he needs to do to contribute to the team in 2018 and beyond.
While Aaron Rodgers is the undisputed starter (and one of the top players in the NFL), Kizer is in competition with Brett Hundley, who filled in for the injured Rodgers last season, and rookie Tim Boyle for a backup role with the Packers. Hundley was unable to keep the ship afloat in Rodgers' absence, although Green Bay still had a shot at the playoffs late in the year when Rodgers returned for a game against Carolina. The Packers lost, ending their playoff hopes.
