At #75 overall and the 12th pick of the 3rd round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers added a pass catcher, Texas A&M TE Jace Sternberger.
Sternberger was a consensus All-American, hauling in 10 touchdown passes in 2018. His teammates named him Team MVP from a season ago, as well as team newcomer. Texas A&M was the third college Sternberger played at, after stops at Kansas and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
The Packers tried to address the tight end position in free agency a year ago, bringing in Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis, but to little avail.
