The Bucks couldn't afford to gamble on Jabari Parker

NBA writer Sean Deveny for The Sporting News says the Milwaukee Bucks couldn't afford to gamble on Jabari Parker's health or potential, and that's why he was allowed to leave for nothing in return to his hometown Chicago Bulls.

"The Bucks are on the clock. It sounds silly, but that's the NBA now. The Bucks are on the clock for the next few years until Giannis Antetokounmpo's free agency."

Deveny talks to the voice of the Milwaukee Bucks, Ted Davis, about the Jabari Parker situation, and why it should be viewed differently than other free agent situations. For starters, there weren't many front office ties to Parker, with former GM John Hammond now in Orlando.
