While nothing has been made official, it's looking more and more like the true quarterback battle in Wisconsin Badgers training camp is for the backup spot behind Jack Coan.
Highly-touted freshman quarterback Graham Mertz and returning quarterbacks Danny Vanden Boom and Chase Wolf are all in the mix as well, but with Coan returning after starting several games in 2018 and taking most of the first-team reps this camp, it appears that the Badgers have an entertaining battle at the position for a number of reasons.
