It's Game Week! What You Need To Know For Friday's Game

It's been almost nine months since the Wisconsin football team lined up across from another team but the wait is coming to an end. On Friday, the Badgers host Utah State at 8 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium. The game will be televised by ESPN but if you're planning to on attending the game in person, there are some things you need to know:

TICKETS

Don't have tickets yet for Friday but want to be a part of the home opener? You're in luck. Tickets are still available by calling 1-800-GO BADGERS or by clicking this link. The cost is $50 per ticket.

PARKING

There are a number of things fans will need to consider given the unique Friday night game time. Fans with football-specific parking permits can begin parking and tailgating in their assigned lots beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the game. Fans with football-specific permits may be denied access to their assigned lots prior to 5 p.m.

CARRY-IN POLICY

In the interest of enhancing existing security measures at football games at Camp Randall Stadium, Wisconsin Athletics will implement a new security policy regulating the size and type of bag that may be carried into Camp Randall for Badger home football games this season.

Fans are encouraged not to bring any types of bags inside Camp Randall Stadium; however, each ticket holder is allowed one small clutch purse (6.5" x 4.5") and one large clear bag, either a one-gallon clear Ziploc®-style storage bag or a 12" X 6" X 12" clear tote bag.

BADGERVILLE

Free and open to the public, Badgerville is the official pre-game tailgate party of Wisconsin Athletics. Presented by Johnsonville, Badgerville opens at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Engineering Mall, located directly north and east of Camp Randall Stadium off Engineering Drive. Fans will enjoy plenty of food and beverage options. Bucky Badger will be on hand along with a performance by the UW Band and Spirit Squad. Live entertainment will be provided by the Hometown Sweethearts.

In addition, a limited number of Wisconsin-branded clear bags that comply with the new Camp Randall Stadium carry-in policy will be available for free at Badgerville, while supplies last.
