Happy Homecoming: Badgers rout Michigan State 38-0

A dominant defensive performance and a great day for Jack Coan leads the Badgers to a Homecoming victory Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium, 38-0 over Michigan State.

The Badgers gave up just 149 yards of offense to the Spartans, 52 of them on a final drive by Michigan State in garbage time to try and avert the shutout.

Wisconsin held a nearly 2-to-1 time of possession advantage, controlling the clock over for over 39 minutes. The Badgers also had three times as many first downs (22 for Wisconsin, seven for Michigan State).

With the win, the Badgers become bowl-eligible at 6-0.
